Sinan Adnan is an analyst and researcher focused on Iraq. He currently works at a US-based firm providing research on Iraq in support of USG-personnel. Between 2013 and 2015, he worked at the DC-based think tank, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) where he published many analytical articles and research papers on Iraq’s security and political sectors. Sinan has served in the US-military in Kuwait where he worked with Kuwaiti and US officials and has also worked closely with Iraqi Security Forces (ISF) while working as a local interpreter in support of the US.
